With normal student visa processing resuming from 31 July 2022, the border exception class to bring up to 5,000 international students to New Zealand is now in its final stages. The first students have begun to arrive in New Zealand to undertake their studies in Worldwide School of English.
Students whose nominations have been confirmed are encouraged to submit their Request for Travel application to Immigration New Zealand as soon as possible. Immigration New Zealand has advised that as at 21 June; 4,709 RFTs had been approved and 1,862 student visa applications granted.
