Now that you arrived in New Zealand, please follow the following steps in order to find your airport pick-up service:
Step 1 – Immigration
The first step after arriving at the airport is to go through customs. During this process, your passport and visa will be reviewed. To make things smooth, have these documents and any other supporting papers ready and easily accessible.
Phone companies: you can purchase a New Zealand SIM card at the airport if needed. Please be aware that there are multiple options available; the picture provided is just one example.
Currency exchange shop: you can exchange some money at the airport if you need but please consider exchanging a small amount as the interest rate is much higher than other currency exchange stores in the city.
Step 2 – Luggage
Head to the baggage claim area by following the signs to the baggage carousel, where you can collect your suitcases.
Step 3 – Biosecurity
After exiting customs, you will proceed through biosecurity, where you will be asked some questions and your luggage will be scanned to ensure you are not bringing anything dangerous into the country.
Step 4 – Way Out
Now you are ready to leave the airport and find transportation to your new accommodation. Follow the ‘way out’ signs to reach the waiting area. Head left towards international arrivals and meet your driver near the Spark or One NZ shops.
Step 5 – Transport
If you have booked an airport pickup with us, turn left after you exit customs, and our airport pickup service will be in the public waiting area with a Worldwide sign that has your name on it.
If you cannot find your driver, or if your flight is delayed or has changed, please call 0800 721 000 NZ or +64 21 272 1010 and leave a clear voice message if no one answers your call. You can also e-mail bookings@premiertransfers.co.nz with your name, flight number, and new arrival time.
If you don’t show up, you will need to pay for a second airport pickup.
If you haven’t booked an airport transfer with us, you have several options to get to the city center:
- Taxis: Available at the Transport Pick-Up Zone, Lane 1.
- Buses and Shuttles: Located at the Transport Pick-Up Zone, Lane 2.
- Ubers: Pick-up from the Rideshare Pick-Up Zone.
